Esta instalación, creada para Entre ritos y portales, es un homenaje a una transición muy importante en mi vida. Un espacio que habita los finales y los inicios. Está arraigada en la naturaleza cíclica de la vida, la muerte, el duelo, la reconciliación y la renovación, a través de elementos que encarnan la transformación.
El papel absorbe tintas naturales, creando paisajes a lo largo del tiempo: estratificando y acumulando memorias. El uso de cera de abeja conserva y transforma, revelando la tensión entre la permanencia y la impermanencia. Las semillas llevan ecos de abundancia, protección y transformación espiritual, mientras que las canastas efímeras de papel, consumidas por el fuego, simbolizan la liberación y la renovación.
Entre ritos y portales ha sido una exposición sobre soltar, honrar lo que ha pasado y abrazar la posibilidad de nuevos comienzos.

This installation created for Entre ritos y portales is a homage to a very important transition in my life. A space that inhabits endings and beginnings. Rooted in the cyclical nature of life, death, grief, reconciliation and renewal through elements that embody transformation.
Paper absorbs natural inks, creating landscapes through the passage of time: stratifying and the layering of memory. The use of beeswax preserves and transforms, revealing the tension between permanence and impermanence. Seeds carry echoes of abundance, protection, and spiritual transformation, while ephemeral paper baskets, consumed by fire, symbolize release and renewal.
